PGDM (Bangalore, Hyderabad campus): Full time bachelor’s degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University/Institution awarding the degree

Test Structure: NMAT would be an objective type multiple choice test (there will be no descriptive type questions)

The NMAT will comprise the following; Language Skills (32 question, 22 minutes); Quantitative Skills (48 question, 60 minutes), Logical Reasoning (40 question, 38 minutes)

The candidate should note that it is important for them to perform well relative to other candidates in each of the 3 sections of the test as the score of each section and the overall score will be used to shortlist the candidate for the second stage of the selection process as well as in the final ranking

How to apply for NMIMS NMAT 2012

How to apply: For appearing for NMAT online application has to be duly submitted and payment of registration charges need to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time

Candidates can apply for more than one programme/campus as per his/her eligibility by giving preferences

The preferences once given cannot be changed later on

There will be three radio buttons for registration; MBA (Full Time), PGDM and both (Full Time MBA and PGBM)

Selection Procedure

Personal Interview: A personal interview of 50 marks shall be conducted to assess the personality traits having bearing on interpersonal relations, adaptability, courtesy etc and communication skills
The minimum qualifying marks for the personal interview would be 40% marks (35% marks for reserved category candidates)
Candidates not clearing the personal interview will not be considered for final selection
The short listing of the candidates for personal interview will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written test conducted by IBPS and the total weighted score obtained as per the valid score card Issued by IBPS
Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who are qualified in the common written examination for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees held in September/November 2011 and for Specialist Officers held in March, 2012 conducted by IBPS and possess a valid score card issued by IBPS and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit based on the total weighted standard score shall be called for a Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:3 for General/ Unreserved candidates and 1:5 in case of candidates belonging to the reserved categories
Candidates passing the personal interview will be ranked in a descending order on the basis of the total of weighted score obtained in the written test conducted by IBPS and personal interview under the respective SC/ST/OBC/General category
Subject to the vacancies available under the respective category, only those candidates who pass the personal interview will be short listed for selection in the order of the merit rank obtained by them under the respective category
Appointment of the short listed/selected candidate is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank

National ranking between 6 to 15 in Juniors or Sub-Juniors category or quarter-finalist of national championships.

DURATION OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

The duration of sports scholarship shall be for a period of 3 years. After the completion of the 1st year of the sports scholarship, the performance of the player shall be reviewed. Based on this performance, the sports scholarship will be renewed for the 2nd year. The renewal for the 3rd year will be based on the performance in the 2nd year of sports scholarship.

The Management may discontinue the scholarship granted to the sports scholar keeping in mind the eligibility criteria.

CONDITIONS FOR AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIP

The sports scholarship player will not be entitled to draw any other scholarship / financial aid / stipend from any other source whatsoever for sporting activity.

There is no obligation on the part of IOC to give employment to the IndianOil Sports Scholars.

The application will be routed through and recommended by Appropriate Authority / Institution (such as Head / Principal of Institution / School) along with certified copy of standing of sports scholar in appropriate National / State level issued by concerned Sports Authority.

All sports scholarships will be for a period of three years and will be discontinued during the tenure, in case the performance of the player is not found satisfactory.

The sports scholars will have to submit their performance report immediately after the completion of a tournament with necessary press clipping through the Head of Institution / Principal or from their National / State Association.

The Management has the right to decide awarding the scholarships as mentioned above depending on the vacancies available in the games so advertised.

APPLICATIONS

The sportsperson should submit the application necessarily in the formats given on the website with all columns duly filled alongwith passport size photograph. It is mandatory to send a copy of the birth certificate. Photo copies of relevant press cuttings and the certificates, duly authenticated by their respective State Association or the Principal of their school/college may be submitted. Incomplete applications shall not be entertained.

The last date for receipt of applications will be 30th Sept., 2012 and no applications will be entertained after the due date. The applicant necessarily should be above the age of 14 yrs. & below the age of 19 yrs as on 30th Sept., 2012.

Eligibility: Students who have passed Std X or Std XII and have secured admissions in Government or recognised Polytechnics for Diploma courses for 2012 admissions

Stream SA-Mentoring Scheme: Eligibility same as above and the students need not apply separately for the Mentoring Scheme

An auto-generated Registration Number is allotted to you on successful submission of online registration form and will appear on print version of the Registration Form. Before taking the print out, save the print version of application form using "SAVE AS" function in the "FILE" menu of the window. Take the print out and keep it for all future reference.

Candidates applying on or before 31st January 2012 can register by paying Rs.1250/- instead of Rs.1750/-.
