Bengaluru Metropolitan Corporation Limited (BMTC) invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Driver-cum-Conductors & Drivers under special recruitment drive for filing up of Backlog vacancies for SCs. The Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per Notification No. BMTC/HQ/Recruit/G2/2154/2012 can apply online for Karnataka Government job.

• Driver : 162 Vacancies
• Driver-cum-Conductor : 129 vacancies

Qualification : Candidates applying for Driver-cum-Conductor & Driver job in BMTC should have passed SSLC / 10th Class. The candidates should also have valid HPV / HTV / HGV Driving license (issued before 31st October, 2010) & Karnataka Badge. Candidates applying for Driver-cum-conductor job should also have valid Conductor’s badge.

Age Limit (As on ) : Minimum 24 Years – Maximum 40 Years. The government employees & ex-servicemen are eligible for age relaxation upto the number of years of their service subject to the age limit of 45 years.

Pay Scale / Salary : The selected candidates will be on training period for two years. During training period the stipend will be Rs. 5500/- pm for Drivers & Rs. 5000/- pm for Driver-cum-Conductors. After successful completion of the training period, the candidates will be absorbed in the pay scale of Rs. 6230-90-6410-130-7190-170-8040-220-8480-280-9320-340-10000

Selection Procedure : Physical Eligibility Test – Driving Test

Fees : The fees for each jobs is Rs. 150/-. Candidates applying for both Driver & Driver-cum-Conductor job in BMTC should pay Rs. 300/-. The fees should be paid at any branch of State Bank of Mysore through the challan available after applying online.
